Super 8 by Wyndham Omaha I-80 West

Horrible. Dont go here. The first room smelled of chemical (and not cleaning chemicals either) so bad I called down to change rooms. Second one was just as bad. Third one was minutely better. Ended up trying to sleep in the car at 6am for a couple hours. Called to complain at hotels.com but since apparently the hotel won’t answer them they won’t do a refund. Don’t stay here.

Its a rundown hotel, I found mold in the air conditioner unit, and there's a horrible smell. Please don't go in there you will be disappointed.

The place is a dump! Room has a hint of moth ball smell, the hallway smells of cigarettes, even though the place is supposedly no smoking, There is no elevator. The main side door didn't shut all the way, The ice maker doesn't work, the room has a rocking chair that is very nasty and the desk chair is peeling. There was some marking on the bathroom tile and the shower head was very low and the shampoo container was EMPTY! The smoke detector was hanging, The door for the room had to be pushed shut and had dents. When I got to my room there was a random plate with a bitten rice crispy treat on a stick and 2 cupcakes. On my stay the power went out from a rain storm and no generator to keep power to the hotel. The front awning is faded and saw random gutter parts and edging for the landscaping was broken and falling out..The parking lot was all busted and uneven. TRIP HAZARD

The hostess was amazing! Sarah is her name, and she was definitely above and beyond. The heater did not work then my room so well and she very professionally and quickly change rims for me. She is a definite asset to your business appreciate her professionalism

HORRIBLE!! Stay away from this place! I wasted $65. Room had roaches crawling on the wall! They offered a different room but the smell was so bad that I just wanted to leave asap! Didn’t get my money back but idc. Disgusting

We've had good luck with Super 8 hotels in other cities in Nebraska but this one was the WORST. Hallway carpets looked uncleaned, our room smelled bad, the bathroom mirror was hazy from being wiped carelessly, no Kleenex, some of the light switches did nothing, there was a burn hole in the blanket. There was no breakfast, not even coffee. Apparently there have been similar complaints from other guests in the past year but yet little has been done. If this was anyone's first experience with a Super 8 hotel, they would never stay at one again. It gives Super 8 a bad impression. Wyndham should drop this place from their franchises.

Attempted to check in at 12 noon rather than 3PM. Would have been charged an extra $25. (I have never previously encountered this.) Some items in room appeared dirty, such as an easy chair. Room and bed had an odor, which smelled like insecticide. This may be explained by the dead roaches in the room. Rather than being straight/parralel, the mattress was U shaped. The entire bill was prepaid. That is the only reason I decided to stay there.

This place is disgusting and should be torn down. I was there for 25 minutes and left because of the filth.

It is an inexpensive hotel, so not a lot can be expected. But the chemical smell in the room and the battery in the smoke detector beeping all night long was not exciting.

The whole hotel smelled of moth balls and cigarettes but the staff at the front desk was very friendly.
