Super 8 by Wyndham Antigo

Nice place for a stay. Pretty quiet, on the north edge of town. Rooms clean & spacious. Breakfast is nice, they put out sausage and hardboiled eggs in addition to the usual stuff, so made some effort.

Room was 63 degrees when we arrived so immediately had to figure out how to warm it up. room clean but could smell fragrance..whether recent or old, who knows? breakfast basic …(yogurt, cold cereal, apples, sausage but no eggs…just a bath of warm water in the second bin.). perhaps it will be refilled later. would not have stayed here (called to cancel) but was told that corporate (Wyndam) will not reimburse points used to book a room if the reservation was cancelled so we were stuck staying or just give up the points. This was well before the 24 hour cancellation time on the website. so… now we know the different rules for money vs points.

Breakfast was good but could have been a little longer. Ended at 9 and by 8:45 it was mostly gone except cereal.

Reasonable

I was charged $16/day for dog fee even though my room was NEVER cleaned. It probable didn't take any extra time, due to the dog, even when the room was cleaned. I could never cool the room down.

Pet friendly, convenient. Extremely friendly staff. Stuff near by. Would stay again

Close to businesses not having my own transportation.

No Elevator to get upstairs. I had a big awkward suitcase and my depth perceptions did not work out well for me carrying it up and down. I asked the front desk for an extra blanket and the receptionist was not very friendly and told me I had a heater in my room. Which half the time the heater didn’t work for me .

Was a good room for sleeping on the go
