Great place to stay

Although I didn't stay, I wanted to share my appreciation for the kiosk person who helped me cancel my reservation free of charge when I needed to change the dates. I had been trying for a while to cancel through Expedia, but they weren't able to assist. Thankfully, the kiosk person stepped in and resolved the issue. I truly appreciate the help. Thank you!

As an introvert, I really appreciated the kiosk check-in process, it was seamless and perfect for me. The accommodation was great, and the dinner experience was made even better with the helpful guidance from the kiosk agent. However, the breakfast was just okay. Despite that, I had a wonderful stay overall and would definitely return in the future.

Room was clean and everything worked. Staff quickly took care of a few minor issues and were very helpful. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at this type of motel. Seemed like the coffee was just rewarmed each morning, orange juice had a brown tinge and didn't taste good, Danish were drier and drier each day.

The hotel was nicer than expected for an inexpensive option.

When checking in we already were off to an odd start. There was a kiosk for check-in. Which was very time consuming and ridiculous. There was one couple checking in already when we arrived, but we were unable to check in with the person physically in front of us. We had to use the kiosk and it took a considerable amount more of time. Then there is no elevator in the building, inconvenient but luckily we didn't need it. However, we got to our room and found out that the deadbolt doesn't even work. Plus the fact that our door "closes" but left a gap about 1/2" that let's light through and the door wiggles within. Like someone opened and closed a door at one point on the floor and the air flow made our door jiggle and move. The first night we found out that most of the outlets in the room were inaccessible because they had taped over them all. So we had access to three plug in spots -- so long as we unplugged their hair dryer to use the outlet. There isn't a large overhead light in the main area of the room. Which we stayed in a standard king room. But there was a ceiling fan -- which is sort of odd in a room that there is an a/c unit already. The ceiling fan was low enough that someone taller cannot lift their hands/arms up very high. The sink did not drain well, so we had to wait for it to drain a few times. It also didn't seem secured to the wall. The bathroom had unfinished tile work on the wall. Breakfast was edible, but can't take it to your room.

Room was clean. Check in with a kiosk was not good. It took a long time and, when you gave them answers to their questions, the computer was not getting the answers correct. Personal service is so much better. Big drawback for the hotel is that there is NO elevator with 3 floors. As we are a little older, climbing stairs with luggage does not work. You should notate that in the description of the hotel

Overall Okay. Need to clean dust off the ceiling fan, shower drain was poor. Been to better, but also seen worse.

This is the 2nd time staying here. They have the absolute best pillows, very comfortable mattress (and I have horrible neck and back problems), wonderful customer service, easy and fast check in, very safe area, convenient location. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if needing to stay in Stevens Point. This is the absolute best place to stay and one of the cheaper options also!! You won’t regret staying here!
