Off the interstate and close to the hospital

The overwhelming smell of marijuana both inside and out had the weather not been so dangerous I would have cancelled and taken my children elsewhere

The room was freezing when we arrived. We had to leave so the room to warm up. It eventually did & we were fine. Recommend to turn on heat prior to arrival

Breakfast options were decent, hot food was hot, not lukewarm like a lot of places tend to be. There were even waffle makers for fresh waffles and hot coffee that's not too strong. The parking lot was ample and made maneuvering a U-Haul with a trailer easy. Close to the interstate, so the location makes traveling through convenient.

The room was not adequately clean. I've been a housekeeper and I would never leave a room in that state for a guest. I expected better from a 3 star hotel. Hair on the toilet seat and toilet tank, hair in the tub, hair and coffee stains on the floor, and the worst is there was hair all over the sheets, even though the bed was made very nearly. This tells me that they either didn't change the sheets at all, or didn't launder them appropriately. Seriously gross. I also notified them when making the reservation that I would be checking in late, so there was plenty of time for housekeeping to clean. They really dropped the ball, having a clean room is a basic expectation of any hotel. If I wasn't so exhausted from driving for 12 hours I would've asked for a room transfer. But I was too tired to think straight TBH. So I cleaned up myself the best I could and just made it work. But if you're immune-compromised or something I wouldn't risk it. Go to a hotel that is consistently clean instead. The room entrance is also poorly soundproofed. I could hear my neighbors conversations clearly while walking past their doors in the hall, and kept waking up all night as people would walk by my door. All in all, at least it was warm and private, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired
