Super 8 by Wyndham Kirksville-University Area

The hotel is very old. Acceptable for what we needed for one night. Hotel is clean.

This Super 8 is recently remodeled, so everything is new and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. This was a quick overnight stop for us, and it was a nice surprise.

Recently remodeled and very nice. Flooring and bedding all updated. Breakfast was great with several options. Room was clean and nice. Pet friendly which is a plus for our family.

The worst hotel stay ever. I was on a business trip and needed a good night's sleep. I was awakened shortly after 11pm to yelling, screaming, and cursing in what sounded like the next room. Then came the sounds of breaking glass and more screaming. I was scrambling to find my glasses to see what number to call the front desk, when suddenly the screaming was just outside my door. By that time I was terrified to call anyone, for fear that the people outside my door might hear me. Not only was the screaming horrible, but the man screaming was making threatening statements and hitting objects, banging on the doors. Even worse, the hotel staff was totally unaware of any incident in the hotel, even though it was just feet away from the front desk. I was finally able to get a hold of the front desk after several attempts. The ambulance and police finally came. I thought all was well and finally fell asleep after about an hour, to only be awakened once more by someone calling my room - I think it was one of the parties involved in the previously stated incident. Throughout this whole incident, I was never contacted by any hotel staff to let me know that the situation had been handled. I literally felt unsafe all night. When I checked out the next morning, I was inquiring about the incident and was told that the hotel room window was busted out. As I was leaving the hotel, staff were outside scrubbing what I assume was blood off of the sidewalk. Bed sheets were wet!

The staff was very helpful and courteous. And the location is convenient for travelers and those who need to stay for a day or two. However, there needs to be a closet or a clothes bar where one can hang clothes--not just 3 hooks on the wall. And there should be luggage holder or luggage bench in the room also.

I'm going arrival I reserve the room with my card when we got there with paid in cash but they asked for a card to use if any damages they had a scan the card which belong to my husband and then after we left we thought everything was fine until we try to use our card it was not able to use there is $400 on it and now there's only nine I'm not sure what happened I called to talk to someone the guy told me you would only look up the dates from the first to the 19th I told him it was last weekend that we were there he once again looked only up until the 19th when I told him that it was the last weekend he found my reservation but then told me that Expedia pays with a card and that they charge my card that is a lie because I told him we paid with cash when we got there and got the card that we scanned I've been using some sort of way I'm going to go to the manager and we are going to figure this out

Staff was SO friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. Thank you

Quiet area

No closet or dresser, not even a suit case stand.

The staff was really friendly and was Amara going above and beyond to make sure all 26 of us was taken care of, even making sure the breakfast was ready in the morning do too us needing to leave before it was supposed to be ready. Would highly recommend if traveling through green top.
