Riverdale Inn

Front desk staff rude and discourteous. Ill trained. Woman on the night shift the night before check in, was unbelievably nasty, shouting at me on the phone. The day man when we checked in, was someone who should not even be working with people. Another very nasty, rude person, with a huge language barrier who spoke very little English, ignored ,me the person who supplied the credit card, instead looked directly at my sister and talked to her about my credit card and payment. He would NOT tell us how much the room cost but had processed my card before I approved that transaction.Still ,three days later, I have NO IDEA how much the room cost. No one would tell us, and no one would give me a receipt. The room the first night was a disaster. Sink would not drain Metal shelf was falling off the wall with one screw holding it up. Heater was loud and clangy, would not shut off. Refrigerator was loud and would not shut down despite turning the dial to OFF.Coffee pot was filthy.TV did not work. People upstairs shouting and talking at full volume ALL NIGHT, never once shutting up to sleep.' ALL NIGHT and even the next morning at 6:00 a.m. they were still talking and stomping around like a herd of elephants. NEVER ONCE SHUT UP. At one point there was sawing going on, wood or something. My sister and I got absolutely not a minute of sleep that night. The vending machine downstairs did not give me change and I lost $10 worth of change through a slot that should not have been ther

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Crack in the bathroom ceiling. Painted over mold. Cigarette burns on the sheet. Stains on the matress. Other guests smoking weed in the rooms. The hallways smelled musty. Very dimly lit inside and out. The staff were not rude, but very direct, wearing what were essentially pajamas. I didn't feel safe. People were yelling in the hallways. Overal, this place was pretty ratchet. Not worth the low cost.

Yall are lucky i cant put any pictures up i have proof tht this place should be closed untill they clean. FROM TOP TO BOTTOM THAT MEANS..... 1.PULL OUT THE NIGHT STANDS AND VACUUM ALSO CLEAN UP THE TRASH 2.MAKE SURE YOU SPRAY EACH ROOM WITH DISINFECTANT 3.WIPE EVEYTHING DOWN WITH LYSOL SPRAY,WIPES 4.CLEAN THE BATHROOM WITH BLEACH 5.WIPE OUT THE HEATING/AIR UNIT OR BETTER YET JUST BURN THE WHOLE THING DOWN AND START OVER

I have stsyed here the last few weekends and this time my room was nissing a microwave to which at first they tried lying ssying the rooms didn't have them when i know they do and its advertisrd as havibg them , then he says not all rooms have them and wouldnt change my room, only gave me one room key even though my checkin was 2 adults and that one key wouldn't work half the time and the floor was not even vacuumed good, the entrance doors didn't work cloest to my room had to walk all the way around, been giving this hotel buisness every weekend and the person at the desk a male with glasses just didn't seem to care about any issues , i made reservations somewhere else next weekend

Great spot, affordable, clean.

After I checked I went to the room and it was not clean .I informed the front desk there was empty beer and soda cans in my room dirty socks were left on the floor also the bathroom and sink were dirty and she stated they would get someone to clean it tomorrow. When I ask for another room the clerk who was very nasty and refused to give her name said sorry my shift is almost over and if I had arrived earlier she would have been able to help me?? I hand no choice because it was late but to stay unfortunately , besides the horrible condition of the room the bed had a huge dip in the middle of the mattress it was so uncomfortable I was unable to sleep . I was schedule to stay for two nights but left after the first night the room I suffered in was number 204..This is a warning stay there at your own risk

What I like is that it's affordable

The room was quiet & secure, & the beds were comfortable. It was easy to find, & a convenient location. The view was of a huge dirt lot, & the concrete-block-walled backs of two buildings. Coffee & pot in room but clerk found no creamer anywhere.
