"A convenient place to stay before visiting family over the holidays."

Availability and easy to get to.

I would have liked the option to only turn the bathroom light on without the fan automatically coming on as well, particularly in the middle of the night so not to disturb others that were sleeping.

"I knew I booked an inexpensive stay and really didn't expect much, but was still disappointed"

Easy access

My bed was sunken in the middle. Either old mattress or broken box spring. I was told at the desk that I could regulate the heat. But once I entered the room I could not adjust the heat at all. There were no obvious switches to the baseboard heaters and no instructions. There was very detailed instructions on how to navigate the TV and a remote to the air conditioner. The coldness of the room late December wasn't an issue when in bed but very uncomfortable when getting undressed at night and dressed in the morning. Also I prechecked in with all my information online then had to redo all the paperwork when I arrived. Pointless. I knew I booked an inexpensive stay and really didn't expect much. The room was clean, though did not smell great, terrible bed, no heat. I run an Airbnb for 10 years and have a 4.8 star rating. This is a knowledgeable opinion on an stay.

I think the staff was very friendly and welcoming and try to assist you in whatever way possible. The breakfast was also excellent and the location was convenient.

Nothing. I regret this booking.

Building is rough and bathrooms are in bad shape. I asked the person at the front desk if I could buy a toothbrush, and they rudely brushed me off. I walked across the street to the Comfort Inn and they were so kind. The building is beautiful and they gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste for free even though I wasn't staying there. The price difference between these hotels is marginal but the quality difference is massive. I won't stay at another Super 8. I also strongly discourage anyone from choosing this hotel over others in the area.
