Super 8 by Wyndham Lakeland

Absolutely wonderful experience. The property is clean and very accommodating. Clean pool and laundry. My room was outstanding.

It was not quiet since we were right next to the pool. There was screaming until 9-10pm from kids and adults. The room was NOT clean. The carpet was sticky, the tub was dirty and had hair in it, and there were bugs as well. Not to mention the paint peeling above the shower.

Room was adequate, clean and quiet. The property is very run down and could use a lot of TLC. Front desk staff was incredibly unfriendly and seemed a little hostile (and from other reviews I’ve seen this is apparently the norm). When checking out, the clerk simply grabbed my key card and flipped his hand as if to say “get out of here". In over 50 years of traveling, that level of rudeness was a first for me. Really a bad vibe all around from these people who don’t really seem to understand the “hospitality” part of “hospitality business”. We come through Memphis several times a year but won’t make the mistake of staying here again.
