Super 8 by Wyndham Chamberlain SD

The location is excellent; off the Interstate, right next to the on/off ramps. We used it as a halfway stop, because we travel between Billings MT, and Onawa IA. Total distance for the trip is about 700 miles, and stopping overnight in Chamberlain SD allows us to leave Onawa midday and not have to spend a lot of time driving at night. The rooms are clean and well kept, and those rooms with outside access, have well sealed doors and windows, so there is very little weather or noise intrusion into the rooms. The room AC/heaters are quiet and responsive, and keep the room comfortable, quietly. The beds are comfortable and well kept, but the pillows are a little odd. They're shorter and thicker, and a little more dense than I was used to, but they're pretty comfortable after only a few minutes of use. The prices are good, and represent good value for the money.

The managers are Indian, and the accent from the adults is very heavy. There was one child who handled the front desk, who was very efficient and very understandable when he spoke, and he was very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was okay, but it could use a better selection of fruit and cereal. Maybe some bananas and oranges, along with the apples. The breakfast room was a little small for the number of rooms/people that might be using it. Honestly, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and this Super 8 will be our go-to for the overnight portions of our trips to Billings.

Adequate breakfast. Not fancy but good enough to start the day. Room very clean and nice and dark for sleeping. Heater worked great but was noisy so I turned it off overnight. Very convenient location.

Check in person was not very communicative; it was late so maybe he was tired? I've stayed here before so I knew about breakfast timing, checkout etc. so it wasn't a big deal.

Young child checked us in. Shower curtain was brown on the bottom. Breakfast was a little lean. Only adult we saw walked by the breakfast area, looked at us, didn't say a word

we had an emergency call on 11/16/2025 am & had to go home we were suppose to get a hold of Booking .com for a refund for the nights stay but haven't figured out where to contact you for a refund for 11/16/2025 unless I get a refund I don't think Ill ever book with you again to hard to get in touch with you after the transaction is made conformation # 8645EE034731 Raymond Keller
