They didn't comp me anything the room had mold on the ceiling and the bathroom fan didn't work no screen on the windows I'll never stay there again

Horrible, horrible experience. The first let friendly room had a lock that did not work. Nik gave me the room across the hall. When the door was opened, Nik and I were hit with the smell of heavy smoke. After he left, I tried to turn on the TV but the tv screen told me to contact the front desk. I tried but the phone didn't work. I went to the front desk and he followed me to the room with a new remote. I showed him the mold in the all over the bathtub and soap dish. I pointed out the broken shower curtain. I asked to switch rooms again and he said this was the only pet room left unless I didn't care about the broken lock in the other room. I asked for a refund but he said it would take a few days to go thru and I didn't have enough money on my account to book another room so I stayed. Should have slept in car. The table side lamp did not work, I found out a little later. The money/urine smell of the room was on everything I brought along. Great pancakes in the morning, though I asked for a discount in the morning and the girls said I should have asked to switch rooms! I was given the name and phone number for the owner but he refuses to come to the phone or return my call. And then this morning the Wyndom people texted and asked to speak with me about my stay. I thought I had gotten through to a caring person. Nope. Their advise was to call the property! Why would wyndom allow owners who refuse to deal with customer complaints. I had actually moved on from the horrible experience until Wyndom reached out this morning. What was even the point?!? This place is smelly and dirty. Mold sucks and is so unnecessary. And owners/managers who will not speak to their own customers is something I'll never understand
