We arrived at the hotel to check in to find out we only had one room instead of two as my reservation clearly showed. After some back and forth he had one extra room, that he reluctantly reserved for us. He rudely explained it was the hotel’s fault that so many web site book with them. I asked if we could check in as we would be arriving very late. We didn’t need to go to the room. He said no. We left and when we returned , checked in and went to our room.We were asked to move to another room, because he needed to accommodate someone else. Then we found out the hotel was trying to charge my credit card 15,853.30 plus the cost of the 2 rooms. Then to end the stay the hairdryer was broken. We stay at that hotel once a year, but never again.

Our room had no cover on the bathroom light/fan and it was covered in cobwebs and what looked like spider eggs. The front desk man did come up and vacuum it when I asked and agreed it was “nasty”. The rest of the room was very clean. The pool area looked very run down, the bottom of the pool looked very dirty and one ladder was broken. Hot tub boarded over (but that could have been stated I didn’t read it). Very few available towels which were barely larger than a hand towel. The AC in our room worked great and the beds were comfortable. 3 tiny pillows per bed. The mirrors are situated so they look right into the toilet so be sure to close the door! Overall I thought it was dingy, but comfortable. I couldn’t get a room on the first floor for our bicycles as they needed to save them for people who were elderly or disabled as the hotel has no elevator. I carried the bikes up the stairs. Overall I’d probably choose another hotel if I returned to the area. But it was right next to the bike track course so that was convenient.

It was clean but noisy

Place was pretty clean, breakfast was very disappointing, pillows and bed were very hard.

Great staff. Maintenance and cleanliness were substandard. Linens and beds were clean, but the windows were dirty and the carpet was damp smelling. Pool was clean but bathroom and hallways had broken tiles. The excellent staff allows me to negate the maintenance issues and we will stay here again.

We stayed here for a college graduation. It was a nice place and convenient.
