"Better, but still need to fix pool."

Hotel is aging. I had stayed there in the past, so went back to see if condition had improved. As usual, their pool was "being worked on," which was part of the reason I chose them was for a pool. Water at bathroom sink very difficult to turn on. Otherwise in the room, although not major improvements, there were some. If the pool ever gets fixed I would consider staying there again. I realize with so few staying there it is not likely. Also, would consider if a major discount was given for no pool. Breakfast area also was disappointing, again based on few customers I understand some. Borders has taken business from them.

We were not told the pool and hot tub would be closed and I had talked to the hotel the night before we arrived. The milk for cereal had a expired date if 1/11 we were at breakfast the 15 th. Never anyone at the front desk not even to check out.

The motel was wonderfully quiet. I was in Wautoma for a wedding reception, and thought the motel would be busy, because it was still deer hunting season. I was wrong. There was very little traffic, and few motel guests. The desk clerk explained that the previous week, which was the first week of deer hunting in Wisconsin, the motel was packed. The second week, the weekend after Thanksgiving, had fallen off sharply.
