Clean great location let me check in a little early

Dirty stained towels ! Front desk made it clear no smoking no vaping no candles in rooms or in the building though our room stank like cigarettes and as we walked through the halls everyone had to of been smoking and vaping because it was so overpowering with cannabis! I don’t smoke and I don’t care if you do but do not make a big deal about getting fined if a good out of rooms were doing such things if your not going to enforce such rules ! Rooms were decent though house cleaners left garbage under chairs and beds so rooms were not the cleanest. I guess the main thing is when you pay for a few nights and to many it’s a decent part of your pay check you want cleanliness. Some of the front desk were great though some did not care when. You brought it to their attention .

The positives were that the facility was clean and reasonably well taken care of. The breakfast was decent and parking was available on site. The cost of this facility is initially what attracted us to use the property for one night stay. Please note the negatives about gang activity here though in the est of our review.

Beware that this might be a major gang hangout facility. Upon arrival we found that a group of gangbangers (markings and gestures suggested WBP13 affiliations) accompanied by at least one paid prostitute, were roaming the halls. It was unpleasant going past them because they look like they were examining us for potential theft, because they watched what room we went to. When we entered our room, we also noticed that they appeared to be moving items (not sure if the weapons or other contraband) between cars right outside of our window in the parking area. Airway Heights is known for both gang activity near the prison, and is the site where the NW Gang Investigator's Association (NWGIA) holds its regular conference, as well as military installations that often have gang activity in the immediate area (I know this in soe detail since I am involved with the NWGIA professionally). While we were on guard throughout the evening and nothing happened overnight to us specifically on this stay, I will tell you that it's very uncomfortable to know that there were gang members walking around your hotel, and that the staff did not seem to have the courage nor the willingness to turn away visible gang members – probably because they felt threatened with potential retribution if they did. For safety's sake, we will not be staying at this facility again.

Refrigerator was broken

I paid half the room price for a pet fee. The place was gross outside and in the public area. Stained, grimy carpets walls, lobby. Cheap plastic everything. One nightstand no outlets. Felt like a closet turned into a room. Bed was terrible.
