Bed was ok, but not clean, smell cigarettes everywhere in the lobby and in the room even non smoking room. Convinced near the roads and closed to the restaurants.

The staff was friendly but I was given a discount and deal. They did have breakfast out from 6 till 9am and coffee at all times. Did have a washer and dryer which I liked and enjoyed. You had to pay to use it. They did provide clean linen and towels and rags daily. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and explained things to me when needed.

Charging me a pet fee for emotional support animals that I have papers for from a licensed therapist. I was told when she filled out the paper it was the same as a service animal as in Virginia laws for housing and restaurants. . Yeah they offered us a discount for the first few days but I think it's just crazy to charge me when I need my catand I clean up after him. And coming to do a room check daily. I understand they got rules but I am a very clean person (they even said it smelled n looked good in our room)and I get very depressed and have high anxiety if my cat is not around. But they got to follow the owner rules and they were nice about the situation.

Full of transient workers and smokers. Car was blocked in by work trucks each night. We cane for Hokie baseball with our son, and this was rough…. Will stay elsewhere

It’s unfortunate that it is a half smoking facility. I thought it was clean and the staff was nice but no matter where I was I smelled smoke and unpacking all my clothes smelled like smoke, very unfortunate 😕

The room is falling apart. The electrical outlets need replacing, there are loose parts in the lighting near the bed, the room smells like stale smoke even though we requested a non smoking room. The front desk attendant was smoking just outside the front doors, cussing and complaining to her manager. Overall that is a bad first impression. The owner needs to put some money into this place to at least brighten the finishes and make sure the fixtures and electrical are functional. We paid well over the market value for this type of room as it is graduation week at Virginia Tech and all the hotels are raising their rates due to demand. I would not stay here again regardless as it is not worth the price even when it goes back down to a normal everyday rate.

The smoking smell just too strong in the entire building.
