Super 8 by Wyndham Lexington

We where just in yhe way yo colorado and had to sleep gor 1 night there. For that purpose this hotel is perfectly good and affordable. Free breakfast and parking. The cable TV wasn't working but we really didn't need it. We where traveling with our 2 frenchies (dogs) and they charged us $20 each, a bit expensive compared to other hotels, but still OK.

I understand that nowadays super 8’s are known to be “bad” but didn’t know just HOW BAD.. went down for a funeral and had my mom and her siblings to go say their last goodbye to their sister and of course we drove for 10 hours and when we got there at 6 am we weren’t sure how we were settling down and because I missed 2 heads to add of people staying, the front desk guy went to our room and literally almost walked in the room to count the people. He mentioned how was anyone going to leave if we only had 1 car and this is happening as we just walked in the room. The tub wouldn’t drain and i mentioned to front desk. Later we overheard someone saying to someone else that if anyone complains about drainage, to just tell us that maintenance was going the next day, but no one was going. This might be my first review. I don’t like complaining, but this time was just too much. Especially the almost going in our room..

The hallways smelled like pot.

If you like scary hotels from horror movies, this is the place for you. From the series of flickering lights, poor maintenance of the facility, dodgy clientele, and dirty shower heads, this place fits the bill! We ran out without eating the breakfast we were so scared of this place. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for.

It is not accessible for handicapped, and instead of two queen beds one was a full size, and with husband's sleep apnea he needed to sleep with the table on the left side of the bed, which meant we had to sleep on the full. Not convenient. And the hot water was tepid.
