No elevator to second floor, "breakfast" lol, bathroom door rubbed the toilet...what is that all about. No microwave.

"A great place to stay!"

The "8" is 6 minutes from the Hanover Chili Cookoff, an event I have been cooking at for many years. I originally picked this place based on location & price & I have never been disappointed! The place is clean & quiet. There's no pool, gym or laundry. Don't need fancy, just a clean bed. There's a free breakfast (they stopped the waffles this year, unfortunately) that's OK and the same people have been working there for years! Next year, guess where I'll be?

I paid through Expedia, but was also charged again for the room when I checked in. When I realized it, I brought it to their attention and they reversed the charges, but it will take several days to show the credit. I’m hoping it’s not going to be a hassle and it was just an honest mistake.

The location & staff that we dealt with were pleasant

Our room was not cleaned - the sheets were visibly dirty (with brown dirt) floors were kinda sticky & dirty - the tub was rusted & filled with water as you showered (drained very slowly)
