Super 8 by Wyndham Bloomington/Airport

Nothing was good about this place.

Upon arrival we checked in and headed to our room, between the smoke smell and the gross room. This place isn’t worth it. We had poop on our shower curtain and something on the ceiling along with a booger on the blanket. I went to ask the front desk manager for a new shower curtain and was told they didn’t know if they had more. I said as long as we could get one left by morning so we could shower after getting back that would be fine. We never received one and the people working the morning after didn’t know anything about it. I was never even discounted. Also the breakfast had no protein items and was either cereal or toast/bagel.

Very accommodating. Friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Water pressure in shower was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi signal was fairly strong and reliable.

I had about the worst electronic lock on the room's handle.* The door was difficult to open even when finally unlocked The room had no refrigerator. (I'd had one on an earlier stay in a different room and presumed they were standard.) I requested a room change as soon as I had discovered the issues noted above and never heard further from hotel staff. The cleaning staff mopped the lobby floor just before the 11:00 checkout deadline on at least one of the mornings of my stay - which truly isn't optimal timing for public safety. *It was a known issue to reception staff as they tried to explain the door's idiosyncrasies to me - but actually fixing the issue seemed to be out of the question.
