Super 8 by Wyndham Las Vegas

Clean, quiet, inexpensive. I liked the parking off the main drag. I could fit all my (small) cooler items in the fridge and put my freezer blocks in the freezer. The free breakfast was typical, the free soup for dinner was a pleasant surprise.

I wanted a hotel where I could keep an eye on my car from the room window as I had an expensive bicycle on a rack attached to the vehicle. This hotel met that criteria. The staff were genuinely welcoming. Homemade posole soup in the evening and it was delicious. (I normally skip hotel food offerings but looked good so I decided to give it a try.) As this property is a bit older, it was a good value.

The hotel is on the outskirts of town in an area that is next to a truck stop - so the surroundings were not all that inspiring. However, entry to the hotel was tightly controlled as everyone had to pass by the main desk and I felt that arrangement was a secure one.

We liked the location. The breakfast was very light.
