Beautiful property! Stately old home conversion was elegant and welcoming. Particularly enjoyed the free refreshments. Locally sourced products, soaps, chocolate truffles, drinks, and teas made the stay more cosy and gave the hotel a unique cachet.

The breakfast they left outside our door in the morning was just excellent. Lovely house!!

Very elegant room and decor, and most importantly, a very comfortable and supportive mattress! We drove all the way from Toronto to Montreal and stayed in five hotels and this one was the one I slept the best. Also this hotel offers breakfast in bed which is great for traveling or vacationing! The staff was very good communicating and nice. the hotel location is a three minute walk to a local dt street. It was very good experience.

Beautiful property! Walkable to town. Breakfast was very elegantly displayed. I would definitely recommend this gem.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cape. The room was large and beautiful. The products in the room were really nice from the bath products to the complimentary drinks in the fridge. The location if very convenient to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay at The Cape!

After we had paid the non-refundable fee for the room, we were notified, by email, that the “private bathroom” was not in the room but across a large public foyer from the room. Very inconvenient for seniors who are likely to need to use it during the night! BTW, there was no shower in that washroom, only a very deep tub that could provide someone with mobility issues quite a challenge. One of the main reasons we booked here was because of the advertised elevator. (Yes, our room was to be on the second floor.) Our hearts sank when we saw the huge staircase in the main foyer and the attendant said he didn’t know how to run the elevator. We strongly insisted that for physical reasons we couldn’t do the stairs and that we needed the elevator. Thankfully the attendant phoned someone for operating instructions! The parking area was unlit, at night creating a dangerous dark step off/on the wrap around deck. Regarding the staff, other than the attendant who checked us in, we had no contact with anyone, including at our checkout.

Elegant and sophisticated. All modern conveniences provided in a nostalgic atmosphere. Very welcoming.

Stayed at the Carry Grant Suite, there is no bathroom in the suite, there was only 1 bath towel so my husband had to use a small towel and no robes or slippers, How were we supposed to come from the bathroom through the hallway? Barefoot? The handle of the bathroom door was broken, fortunately I had my phone with me and I called my husband to open the door from outside.And there was no one in the property to talk or ask for these things to be fixed.Bottom line not happy at all.
