"Not so fun stay during Montreux Jazz Festival"

Spacious Apartment right in the middle of Montreux town

No private parking (Their one bedroom apartment had a very safe covered parking space 2 years ago.) Very noisy from the street

Did not realize the apartment was located on a main road. Luckily, not much traffic noise by the time we went to bed.

"NO AIRCONDITIONING!"

The apartment was spacious and clean.

There was no air conditioning in the apartment. The description listed AC. In one room there was a portable little unit that barely worked. The other room there was nothing. In the living room there was a unit that needed to have the balcony door open to put a tube outside for the portable device to work. When the balcony was open it was very loud and did not properly air condition the apartment. We stayed 3 nights and couldn't sleep because it was so hot. We tried opening the windows but it was very loud. When no one can sleep it ruins the vacation. I would not recommend renting this unit as this is a big problem and I raised it with the agent and they did nothing.
