A Village Bed and Breakfast

Claudia was a wonderful host.

We had a wonderful stay at the Village B&B, located at peaceful neighborhood just a short walk to the subway, which made getting into downtown Boston quick and easy. The Penthouse was clean, comfortable, and more importantly it has its own stairway corridor, a large kitchen with an eating area and its own shower bathroom which definitely keep privacy. Breakfast was freshly prepared by Claudia and offered a nice variety to start the day. Claudia was incredibly friendly and always kept breakfast time flexible, which make our vacation much more relaxed. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and homey atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near Boston! we would definitely stay there again!

There is nothing we really didn't like! If I should be picky about the penthouse, the some area of the ceiling is low so it may not be good for a >6 ft tall person, e.g. a NBA player? :-). Although it is safe there, it may be better if the penthouse can be locked from inside, only if safety code allows?

Spacious, light, clean and in a great location in a quiet area just 5 mins walk to train station (Green line) into Boston. Wonderful host, Claudia. So welcoming and friendly - we immediately felt at home. Breakfast was fantastic too.

Absolutely nothing

Vi havde et dejligt ophold hos Claire, som er en virkelig sød, opmærksom og imødekommende vært. Vi havde et dejlig stort værelse samt et kæmpe badeværelse med både bruser og badekar. Vi kunne frit benytte opholdsstuen til at sidde og hygge om aftenen. Claire tilbyder en meget varieret og dejlig morgenmad, og det var rigtig hyggeligt at interagere med både Claire og de andre gæster over morgenbordet. Claires hus ligger i dejligt rolige omgivelser, og det var nemt at komme ind til det centrale Boston med toget, idet togstationen ligger kun få hundrede meter væk. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt ophold, og vi kommer meget gerne igen en anden gang.

Der var ikke noget vi som sådan ikke kunne lide, men det kunne være praktisk, hvis der var usb-opladningsmulighed i stedet for "kun" traditionelle el-stik, når man som europæer kun har et omformerstik til rådighed.

Claudia is the BEST host! We absolutely loved it there. We got a room with a private bathroom across the hall, but it was okay with us. Both the room and the bathroom were perfectly clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was above and beyond what we expected! Great plus is the location right next to the green line station, which allows easy access to the city, and the driveway parking next to the house if you are with a car. BTW we loved that the rooms were named after Claudia's daughters. It really adds to the homey and cozy atmosphere. We will definitely come back in our next visit to Boston!

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, tolles Frühstück (für amerikanische Verhältnisse sogar herausragend). Ruhige angenehme Wohngegend, trotzdem gute öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung nach Boston (30 Minuten bis ins Zentrum). Entspannte Parkplatzsituation und diverse Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar.

Claudia is such a wonderful host! Her home is lovely and she makes the guest feel like family. We had such a nice visit and the breakfast was delicious!

What a wonderful stay! it was comfortable and extremely clean. The room we stayed in had a ton of space and a great bathroom Breakfast was lovely and a super convenient location for the subway!

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here immensely. The place is not perfect but it has a great vibe and the host is going out of her way to make you feel special. The location was great, Boston easily accessible by rail, which is just minutes walk to the B&B. Host Claudia has been amazing from start, when my card did not process the payment, to finish. There are some great places to eat nearby and we loved the walks in the area. BTW breakfast was plenty as well.
