The bar and restaurant options in this hotel as well as walkability to the main tourist areas of NOLA make it a great option. It’s close enough to walk yet far enough to get away from the noise and crowds. The WWII museum is a great experience.

"Great hotel near convention center"

10.0

Great location for our Endymion coronation ball located in the convention center. I enjoyed all of the World War II memorabilia. The room was very comfortable and it was easy to park. There are many restaurants in the area that you can walk to.

"Great place for a family stay in New Orleans!"

10.0

Great place to stay near the Central Business District. Besides being across the street from the National WW2 Museum, there were several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. We liked the art deco architecture and WW2 decor within the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff were NEVER friendly or inviting. Terrence the concierge was absolutely AMAZING!! My gosh he was THE BEST. HE should be greeting everyone as they enter the lobby. I just can’t imagine why the front desk staff are SO unfriendly. It truly puzzles me. Well, thank you Terrence for making a difference in our trip. We truly thank you!!!!

The Higgins Hotel decor takes you back in time of what you would expect to see in an upscale hotel during the late 30s and 40s plus a patriotic atmosphere of the time to include photos and other items from that era. The Overlord conference room was just incredible. I highly recommend this wonderful Hotel that is dedicated to the "Greatest Generation" their courage and monumental achievements.
