Crowne Plaza Hotel Los Angeles Harbor by IHG

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly especially our morning breakfast waiter.

Lights in room only a few worked. And breakfast voucher were not given to us yet those who paid less received it.

I already left a review. It wasn’t o welt positive. Short version. Hotel is old, dirty. The only benefit was its location, but I didn’t think that was enough to offset the price or the condition of the room or facilities. The ‘non-public’ rest rooms near the restaurant were deplorable. I’ve seen truck stops with cleaner restrooms. It is, frankly, inexcusable. Rather than blame the line staff, k blame se our mgmnt for allowing this property to be managed in this way. Never again. I’ll pay more to go elsewhere.

Everything except its location and size of the suite. Apart from those two things, I literally hated everything else.

Pre cruise stay. We had a harbor room view and had a chance to see ships come and go. We did have a drink in their restaurant/lounge area but we didn't eat there. It was very convenient for getting on our cruise. I would recommend it.

Stayed one night as most people seem to. This hotel exists to serve the pre-cruise market and helpfully provides a regular shuttle bus to the cruise terminal which is great and the food and service in the restaurant was ok, but that’s about all the positives I can think of. I have stayed at other Crowne Plaza hotels and this one is below their normal standard; the decor is dull and the whole place feels tired and in need of refurbishment. There is a small self service shop in the lobby that charges extortionate prices -$6 for a small bottle of water! As a stop over hotel for a cruise it’s ok but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer. San Pedro was surprising cool and a lot of money is being spent improving the waterfront area and there are some nice cafe’s and restaurants in the streets behind the hotel.

Location good but room and hotel was very tired.

Decor old and dilapidated. The cockroaches.
