Pension Alvarez

Nice location. Superb service. Senjor Alvarez is old school gentleman. Everything was lik promised and even better.

Vodafone coverage is very poor inside.

I believe that this Pension provided very good value for the solo traveler for a stay within this INCREDIBLY expensive resort island. The bed was comfortable, there were no bedbugs and I slept well.

It could have been cleaner. There were no towels provided or offered to my knowledge, nor was there any soap for hand washing.

Rooms are cheap, staff are friendly and the location in El Tablero is fantastic. One minutes walk to a big grocery store and bus stops nearby to Maspalomas etc.

The mattress was very hard and mine was still wrapped in plastic for some reason. Pray you don't have noisy neighbours like I did because there is no sound proofing whatsoever. The utilities are fine keeping in mind this is budget accommodation, though they could supply some hand soap in the bathrooms.

Everything about the place. A prison cell. No balconies on any room. Don't stay.

Personel was very kind

The room was rather small. There were some small but visible spots on the floor. The room was rather for smoking people, because there was an ashtray on bed table and smell of cigarettes in the air

It's a simple place for the price paid that meets the need.

There are local shops, pharmacies, bars in the area, outside the tourist area and the bus stop is a 3-minute walk away.

Didn’t like anything here. Would not return.

Very far away from tourist places. Other guest seem to be long term residents who are drunks and drug users. Kept asking did I want to buy drugs. Residents up shouting and yelling in the hallway outside rooms every night until 1,2,3 am. Place is filthy dirty. Staff have no English.
