Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Queensbury Glens Falls/Lake George

We stayed here for a few nights in the Lake George area, just as a mini-vacation. The hotel was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected for our reservation, and they were able to get us into our room early. The room, a king suite, was very clean and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub area, which was very clean and enjoyable. The coffee and breakfast food were typical hotel quality (perfectly fine but definitely not gourmet), but the breakfast area was large, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast attendants were incredibly pleasant and attentive - they checked to make sure everyone was all set before putting breakfast items away at the end of the breakfast hours, and even very kindly allowed some folks who arrived a little late to take their time grabbing whatever they needed. All front desk staff were professional and friendly. The bed - well, it wasn't super-comfy, but I chalk that up to being spoiled with a really nice mattress at home. Our requests for additional amenities (extra pillows and a complimentary dental kit) were fulfilled without issue. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay when visiting this area.
