The hotel is in the perfect location, close to the town, the beach and restaurants, as well as the coastal path to Palafrugell. The room was really clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel are fabulous and both the breakfast and dining options in the restaurant were great. There are plenty of options for walks nearby and beaches to visit other than the main Llafranc beach (which is lovely).

The rooms were sparse in terms of extras - there was no full length mirror or coffee machine or kettle. You could request hot water at the bar but this wasn't always manned during the day and it would be nice to just have the option of something already there in your room. It also wasn't always clear if it was possible to have a drink in the evenings or if this was a bit of an inconvenience given the dinner service that was usually about to commence. There was a seating area at the back where drinks could be served, however it wasn't really explained how things worked.

This is the feeling you get, when you expect a two-star hotel but get the equivalent to at least four stars. This hotel is absolutely top for a stay at the Costa Brava. It is located above a small swimming beach with a beautiful view over the little bay. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and might expect from a higher class resort. Our room was spacious, everything was modern, clean and functioning. The staff speaks good English and is very helpful. If you want to take a swim, you get a hotel-bag with bath-towels. It is exactly 100 steps down the stairs to the beach promenade and to the beach itself. The hotel also hosts a Michelin-star restaurant - luckily we could get a reservation and enjoy the absolutely fantastic food together with the fabulous night-view of the bay. We will gladly return for a longer stay.

The staff was exceptional in the hotel, it was clean, great breakfast, great service!

The air conditioner was blown into the head while you sleep. It would be nice if ventilation had a way to redirect the direction of blown air.

Very friendly owner who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Very conveniently located only a few steps by staircase from the beach. Great food , both dinner and breakfast were of high quality
