New Orleans Inn Portageville

I reserved 3 double queen beds for me and my family and they gave us 2 single rooms and 1 double queen bed room. the lady was rude and proceeded to tell me i reserved the rooms they gave me. I showed her the reservation and she said sorry not sorry. So i asked for a reimbursement for the rooms. Not happy with this place at all

Waited 15 or 20 mins. for attendant to return... no ice machine

Nobody to clean the rooms , toilet didn’t wanna flush the room had a bad oder to it I was very unsatisfied

I've stayed here several times in the past few years and the property seems to be slowly but steadily declining. There's a dial phone that doesn't work, the tv wasn't working when i checked in but was fixed the next day. Room was very dusty. Other guests were noisy.

The staff was great and the place was clean. But, it is very much in need of renovation.

Filthy, no staff had to check self in by grabbing card behind the desk. Bugs in the bathroom.

Live ants and dead bugs in the bathroom. Trash all over parking lot and walkways. Stray cats everywhere, everytime you open the door they would try and get in the room. Had to reach behind the counter to get our own room key as no one was available to check us in. Waited 2 minutes trying to check out and no one was available once again. Very poor place.

Carpets are filthy and had a trail of ants in the bathroom

The room itself was pretty nice even though a bit outdated it was worth the price paid. The outside of the building is kind of old and not very clean, could use some updates. Dining is very limited. We went to another town to have supper that was 12 miles away. The staff was very friendly!
