Hoi An Fairy Garden Villa

The central courtyard is super lovely with a great pool and sun loungers. The rooms spacious and beds comfortable with great white linen sheets. The banana pancake breakfast and Vietnamese coffee was just what we needed to set out on our bikes in the morning, and the choice was minimal but great. The communal kitchen was an also a great addition if you needed to cook dinner.

The bathroom was super clean but perhaps needs a little updating but other than that everything was great.

The rooms are very nice and clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, the area is very quiet and the beds are super comfortable. One of the best nights sleep I've had in Vietnam.

The room was dank and smelly when we arrived, we had to throw open all the windows right away. The spare pillows also had mold growing on them... The shower window doesn't open so it gets extra steamy throughout the room. The bikes they let you use are pretty junky and the area is a bit of a food desert (15min walk to closest restaurant). But the worst thing of all, THE HOT TUB (JACUZZI) IS NOT ACTUALLY HOT, THERE IS NO HOT WATER, IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND ANYONE INTERESTED IN A HOT TUB SHOULD KNOW THIS. The hot water in the room also ran out quickly. Probably not an issue in the hot season but in winter both of these things were disappointing. Overall it is a nice place but not really worth the money.

The villa is simple but beautiful, quiet and off the main road and Vincent the host was brilliant at helping us when we needed it.

Unfortunately it was raining heavily which meant getting in and out of the villa was a struggle as grab cars were reluctant to take us down the narrow flooded paths and there was work being done too on the road outside meaning we often had to wade through wet mud when leaving and returning to the villa which dampened the mood.

Quiet location. Maybe 30 minutes walk from the « city centre » I loved the place. Great facilities and comfortable. Staff is very useful and friendly. No complaints.
