Cabin was cute however grounds were unkempt. Access to the cabin from the parking lot required walking across a field of unmowed weeds. No specific path like a mulched walkway. The 2nd bed was inaccessible to us in a loft with a high ladder we weren’t comfortable using at night. Breakfast was very European, all cold foods. It was okay. Yogurt, fresh bread and jam, hard boiled eggs and meat and cheeses. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. We’ll pay a little more for something better.

We loved the cottage, it was warm, cozy and welcoming! Our host greeted us when we arrived, he was very nice. Our hostess provided a DELICIOUS breakfast every morning and the fridge had water and sodas. This was a perfect B&B for our weekend getaway!!

The setting is delightful, quiet, and spacious. It is not a 5 star pampering place, but a spot to quietly be restored. So, yes you serve yourself, port your own baggage, and clean your own room, and in exchange do everything at your own pace. Cabins are stocked and nicely, comfortable, decorated, come and go as you please, basic German cold breakfast served to your door, and very good air conditioning. Friendly cats made it even better.

I wish we had a wagon to take our things to the cabin from the parking area, or specific permission to drive up to the cabin, unload then go park.

The location was great in relation to the winerys and town.

This location is close to downtown Fredericksburg, right off the main highway, but far enough away to be quiet. The cottages are very cute. We visited in the summer, so it was too hot to enjoy the outdoor space fully. The cabin we stayed in was super cute, with very comfortable beds and a great sitting area. It was very well decorated with a lot of art pieces to enjoy on the walls. The music selection was excellent! I really liked having music streaming throughout the cottage.Breakfast was a very good selection that was delivered to our cottage each morning, I enjoyed the bread! Overall, it was a very nice stay. We did encounter a scorpion in our bathroom. I called the owner and he told us to kill it, which was easier said than done. We did eventually get it out the door, it is Texas, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised in the hill country to encounter one of its native inhabitants. If you are looking for a unique and whimsical experience, check this place out.

One of our best experiences. This place was charming, beautiful, and quaint. The owners were great and brought us a fancy breakfast every day. We truly enjoyed are stay and are looking too come back soon.
