Wonderful experience overall.

No complaints.

There was only one problem we had. The bathroom fan was not turning on and there was no switch.

Easy to Downtown Portsmouth. Having to pay for parking. Understand a little extra for valet but honestly - a guest at your hotel shouldn’t have to pay for outside, across the street, parking

I've traveled all over the US and while getting one or two of the following is normal, all three is pretty unheard of: The hotel was very clean. I didn't see dust, mildew, or mold anywhere unlike several places I've been. The staff was both friendly AND efficient. This is usually enough to overcome other shortcomings at a hotel, but when there's nothing to overcome it's still fantastic. The dining was great. Good service, good drinks, high quality food that tasted great and was cooked the way you ordered it each time. 10/10 in all three areas.

The location is great!

The hotel was not in the best condition. Our bathroom had peeling paint and a broken toilet paper holder and the tempting the room was very hot and we were not able to adjust it. Worst of all we all returned to the hotel at 11:00 to have a New Year’s Eve drink in the bar only to learn that they had just closed!!! Crazy!

Well maintained, excellent location for walking downtown, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Checking in at 3pm was frustrating. Long lines of guests, and when it was our turn, our room was not yet ready. More waiting. Management should not allow so many late checkouts when they expect full house.
