good place to stay. perfect location and friendly staff. would stay here again.

The restaurant inside the hotel made it very convenient for us to have breakfast and dinner. You have to let the kitchen know what you want for breakfast and dinner in advance because only then they will prepare it. Its not a very large restaurant with ready-made food. The chef will cook what you want based on your orders. The food is very hygienic and very tasty. It feels like homely food all the time. We tried north indian and south indian meals and both of them were excellent. The view from the hotel is not bad if you get a sea facing room. You can see the ocean at a distance but it is obstructed partially by other establishments. It nice to have the view though and feels relaxing to sit on the balcony staring at the waves.

The rooms were still being renovated so there were a few shortcomings when we visited in June 2023. There were no wardrobes to keep our clothes in and no dressing table or mirror in the room. The room is big enough to accommodate these and perhaps in the future, they will have them. A small table near the electric sockets will also be handy to keep our phones on during for charging. The approach to this property is very very narrow when you get closer to it. You have to pass the temple and then you will see a road where just one car can pass. It feels very risky to take a big car but I was able to navigate my Scorpio thru that path and onto the property. Behind me, there was an Innova that also managed to come thru. Thankfully, when leaving you don't have to follow the same path. There's a much wider road towards the beach that takes you back to the highway. If we visit Gokarna again, we will definitely be staying here and will request a sea facing room in advance.
