Days Hotel by Wyndham Allentown Airport / Lehigh Valley

Location.

The room was dirty. There were hairs everywhere, including the towels. There was dried up urine at the base of the toilet. I cleaned everything I needed to touch, including the TV remote. The hotel is in need of a remodel, the place is older and looks outdated. There were lots of people staying there but not necessarily the kind of people a woman who is traveling alone would want to be around. As it got later, I was seeing some very sketchy people. There were obviously people who live at the hotel. I saw a few families with young children who were living there. I understand what it's like to go through hard times but I was looking for a clean safe place to stay overnight so I could catch an early flight the next day. I was very disappointed. I didn't have the free breakfast so I can't rate that. I did get free shuttle service to the airport which is one of the reasons I chose that hotel. They do have a restaurant and bar on the property. I ordered food which I was told to pick up in the bar, again, sketchy people. The bar im sure draws that type of crowd. The food was horrible, i should have ordered Uber eats. I would not stay at that hotel again. So disappointing.

The property was excellent, the breakfast was very good plenty of options. The bar had great drinks , good food as well

Picked this hotel specifically because they have a pool. We arrived later than we hoped at 8:45 but most hotels don't close their pool until 10 so thought we would still have time to swim. Nope, they closed the pool at 8:55 and they don't open it until 10 so it was a completely wasted trip. Sorry to have wasted the time and the money. Go somewhere else.

When making a look and I told him I would likely be staying tonight they said that was not a problem and I could add it on when I was at the hotel. Getting here completely packed with drunk people people who were sitting around didn’t belong in the hotel people who were yelling at each other the front desk was slow not paying attention to anything going on or any of the fighting going on any of the loud noises going on. They did however upgrade me to a King without me asking or without my knowledge until they handed me the room key into which I said I would probably be staying another night again no problem and that was for the rate that I booked it on not being told anything or would change when I got into the room there was blood in the toilet it was dirty and there were people screaming and beating each other down the hall to which I called and they said the police were coming so I had to listen to domestic violence for an hour when I called to make the room for a second night because I’m here and I might as well just stay put they told me they couldn’t do that until the morning because their rates don’t change and they’re not allowed to do that so I called book and booking said that they couldn’t keep me at the same rate even though I didn’t ask to be put at this room I didn’t ask to be upgraded to a King when I told them that it made no sense moving me to another room because you would need to pay housekeeping additional hours and pay that person additional money and then dirty another room that wasn’t being used they simply said I would have to call at 7 o’clock in the morning why in the world would I want to get up at 7 o’clock in the morning when they told me I could book it later that evening on addition to all of this we had a gentleman knocking on my door giving me toilet paper that I did not call for the phone fell apart every time I tried to use it because the line does not fit in the jack hole and you have to hold it in order to physically use the phone and on top of all of that there is an employee in the hallway with his shoes off on the cell phone not once not twice but three times in three different places if you care for your safety if you want to be treated like a human being or have any wants or needs for hospitality or cleanliness do not stay here
