Sleep Inn Henderson-Evansville South

Needed an overnight in Henderson KY. There was no event going on in the tri-state that would be bumping room rates up. The total for a non smoking king was $137.00 which I found to be a bit high for an economy based hotel chain. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but by no means is this property a luxury stay. There is no pull and the exercise room in minimal at best. I guess for that price I was expecting it to be a bit nicer. In the future I’d stay at another hotel along the HWY 41 travel path.

We came into room and it looked clean and smelled nice BUT then I found a dirty sock behind the bathroom door.. Made me wonder how clean was it? Breakfast was nice with a good selection of food.

Safe and clean and helpful staff

The room was nasty and we couldn’t get another room it smelled so bad and the front desk person said somebody stayed in there for 3 months and just left the day before we checked in. I had to go to the store and buy cleaner air freshener and sheets I cleaned everything but the smell was still horrible. The front desk lady gave us a fan because the window didn’t have a screen in it to get fresh air. The air conditioner smelled like sour water. The chair in the room was broken so we couldn’t even sit in the chair.

Enjoyed stay. Only complaint was I reserved a room with a King bed and got a room with 2 full size beds.

Surrounding the property area was clean and quiet. Hotel food was average and had watered down coffee. My room smelled like a pet was in there.

Property was super nice and in a great location. The breakfast was a 9/10.

The smell of smoke in the room even though it’s a smoke free room. It smelled like the room had been wet but after keep the air on for a while the smell seemed to subside. The pillow was too soft.
