Sleep Inn Wilson near I-95

I checked in and had to leave the hotel to do a small job right after check in. I got back 2-3 hours later and walked into the bathroom of the master suite and stepped on what appeared to be broken glass from a marijuana pipe ( no detective but can only assume because there were also marijuana stems scattered across the floor not far away) It looked like the entire room had not been swept, no comforter on the bed, broken door handle on bathroom door, broken toilet seat. Went to speak to faculty about stepping on the glass and dirty room, and was told I should have said something right after check in, and though understandable; I explained I had left right after check in and this is what I had found upon returning. Picked up the glass from the floor and took it with me to the front counter and employee offered a trash can to throw it into, then once she came to inspect the room she said she didn’t see any glass on the floor, acting clueless about the glass she saw me dispose of in her trash can. Ended up having to sweep and clean the room ourselves and received no adjustment, compensation or refund. Found more glass after sweeping room ourselves. Just glad it was me who stepped on it and not my kid. Highly upset to have spent so much money on the suite and situation was handled the way it was.

My key was deactivated after the first day. The room was not serviced between days. So, there is no coffee to make. I did get coffee from the desk clerk, and he was very apologetic. He also asked if I needed towels since there was no room service and reprogrammed my key. The bed had a springs in it that sounded like I was rolling around on a car hood all night. Not happy. I like Sleep Inn, but something is not right at this one. Sorry... I paid good money, and it should have been better.

The blanket had a huge hole in it, the shower was dirty, the rooms temp was 85 when I walked in the room, the toilet seat was broken, and the sheet was dirty, there was no usb port for my phone, we could not hook up to the WiFi.

The staff was extremely pleasant and very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet as well

The sink outside of the bathroom wasn’t a favorite for me however it was doable

There was no hot water when asked for a partial reimbursement the manager was nowhere to be found. We stayed 2 nights and there wasn’t hot water either night

Check in was fine. The person at the counter was friendly. We had our family in 2 rooms. When my wife checked the beds in her room, the sheets on both beds were dirty. One with a brown stain and the other appeared like an oily stain. She told the front desk and they just gave her new sheets - no offer to have housekeeping change them or a room change. The shower in her room had an empty conditioner bottle on the wall with no shampoo. The carpet was so filthy that our 4 year old’s feet were black from walking around barefoot. My room wasn’t much better. The privacy latch was broken. The shower had pubic hairs on the wall and there was no shampoo or condition at all. The hallway reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke, which we reported to the front desk. They, again were very friendly and immediately said that they would take care of it, but by that point our experience was already ruined.

The light shades were molded. Water wasn’t hot. Overall a 2stat hotel so it definitely lived up to expectations.
