Definitely worth to stay and definitely the best five star hotel

Good location, noisy construction next door until late at night and early morning. Noisy road. Was advertised as having a gym but didn't. Food was average with not much choice for western customers. Room service would not deviate from the menu, couldn't even do french fries! For the money this hotel was dissapointing.

Good hotel, location& service. Needs more food options

I must say very modest, clean place without heavy price. After staying a couple of days at the Hilton executive room, I feel like I’m not missing much here at The Mado. Room, great color choice. If you are from warm climate they will provide you with portable heater (take caution, it can heat everything near it.) Spa, almost always you will enjoy it by yourself, everything looks new Restaurant, food is good...Americano and Macchiato the best. Hotel is located in the center of everything you need. If you are new to Addis, always share your experiences. I feel like Addis Ababa lack good service, by sharing they can improve!

I like the fact that the property was clean but wifi does work and the kitchen did have food except salad and soup because kitchen is not fully ready . There is also Time limit on sauna and steam only from 6-9pm .

Mado Hotel is an oasis in the hectic city of Addis Ababa. The location of the property is second to none and the design and ergonomics of the furniture etc is comfortable for long stay customers. I have stayed in several hotels in Addis Ababa (visited 13 times) and this has to be my favourite. The staff are welcoming, warm, helpful and professional. The steam and sauna located in the wellness centre is fit for purpose and truly relaxing. I recommend this illustrious property.
