Villa Sunny

It was lovely and child friendly. We had a toddler travelling with us.

The bedrooms were colder at night than what we would have liked.

Our kids enjoyed pool a lot. Comfortable pool chairs for all our group of 6. Nice to take outside shower after swimming in the pool. Kitchen is well equipped. Cozy house with very nice owners.

A little far from everything, but we had car.

Really spacious villa, great for large families, especially as everyone had their own bathroom and there was an extra one too on the ground floor.

Although it is technically walking distance from the marina, old town etc. The hill could be a problem for those who are less mobile as the road is quite steep on the way back to the villa. We had a car which is definitely something to consider.

The gardeners arrived very early in the morning without any notice, apart from that it was great

Everything was good just had bad time with taxi booked return taxi to airport and the taxi did not turn up so had to pay Uber around 80euros

Very spacious villa with all that is required for a great holiday. 4 double bedrooms all with their own bathroom (2 twins on top floor, double on ground floor and double in basement). Good communication with owners. Pool was great to have and a great view over the marina. It is a little walk down the hill to the marina; we were informed of a shortcut down a slope - took 10 minutes. We also had a car for golf - needed as there were no nearby shops either.

Situated at the top of a hill overlooking the marina - it does get very windy. Parasols could do with renewing - they were broken and the wires could be a hazard to young children.

The property is huge! for a family of 4 it’s more than plenty. There is a great amount of kitchen equipment. The panini press is a great addition. plenty of bathrooms for each member of the family. The pool is lovely with good views of the marina. Definitely need a car as it is a bit out of the way but the upside is that it makes the Villa totally peaceful. Great selection of supermarkets near by. There is a small marina about a 15 minute walk away with a few eateries but for better restaurants and nightlife I recommend a drive to Vilamoura marina (35 minutes) or Albufeira old town (10 minutes.) Nice beach at Albufeira.

Not much apart from one of the 4 bedrooms is in the basement with the games room (pool table, fussball table & various board games) and it’s a bit musty down there.
