The room was very spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning, everything was spotless and the staff were so kind and polite. The breakfast choice was outstanding with local cuisines, pastries, choice of freshly cooked eggs and lots of fresh fruit and salads. Lovely hotel in the heart of the old city, with easy access to all the temples.

Only down side was view from our balcony however, the rest of the hotel made up for it.

I had a great stay at El Barrio Lanna. The property seems new and is extremely clean. The location is great. It’s close enough to walk to everything but set far back enough that it’s nice and quiet. I didn’t get breakfast but it looked great.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. The quality though seems not as impressive as the last time, it is still a very comfortable stay. The location, the warm feeling, the staff, the breakfast are the aspects that I like most.

The bath towels and hand towels provided in the bathroom are in old and weary condition throughout the 3 nights stay. It does not tally with what a four stars hotel should provide.

Breakfast was too limited. Not much variety.

The staff were so helpful. The hotel is perfectly located within the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai but set back enough that it is a quiet oasis. This is definitely the best hotel we have stayed in before. The rooms are beautifully decorated and characterful, whilst being clean and modern. The views from the balcony were beautiful. The pool was a lovely extra for us. We wish we could've stayed longer.
