Montgomery Apartments - Crighton

The location is amazing for what you get. Only 5 minutes walk from the tram station all the way through princes street to the airport and to Leith. Overall clean.

Could do with some renovations. Although it was clean it did feel old and a bit tatty. For example the carpet on the stairs looks like it's 20 years old.

The location is a bit from the old town area. This was known and expected. Even with the distance from old town - the apartment was on a bus/tram route so getting in and out was easy including from the train station and airport. The neighborhood had many restaurants and pubs to enjoy (particularly the Italian pastry shop literally next door). We booked this as we were a family of 4 adults traveling together and it is nice to be in an apartment were we can all sit together without being on beds. This was on the smaller side of things, but it worked out were we were able to hang out in the living room area to plan our day and recap our nights. Overall, for the price and the nice, but out of the way neighborhood, this apartment is priced right considering what the cost to stay close to the castle is. It is not the Ritz Carlton, but it makes for an affordable stay in Edinburgh.

The bathroom could use some updating. The lighting was dim, the shower curtain rod was rusty, and just a bit dank. The kitchen in the lower level with the dinning in the upper made things a bit inconvenient. With a family of 4 adults staying it was a bit cramped but mentioned as a like - we were all able to sit together in the same room.

El barrio tiene de todo (supermercados, bares, restaurantes), al centro en 20 minutos caminando llegas y si no quieres caminar, tienes la parada del tram y de buses para ir.

Es un poco extraña la distribución del apartamento, al entrar está el salón/living y un dormitorio, luego hay que bajar unas escaleras donde está la cocina (sin mesa, la mesa está arriba), el baño y otro dormitorio. Por lo cual cocinas abajo, pero tienes que subir todo para comer porque la mesa está arriba.

Buona la posizione, si raggiunge il centro con una passeggiata di 20 minuti circa, facile arrivare anche dall'aeroporto, direttamente con il tram

La ripida scala per raggiungere il bagno, molto buio, e la cucina, comunque bisogna salire anche per la colazione perché tavolo e sedie sono su. Il tubo della tenda della doccia è arrugginito

Good location. Bedroom upstairs was v comfortable.

Stairs were a bit steep. Basement bedroom a bit dark.

Comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi

Decor was a bit tired, kitchen had no tea spoons until I bought a pack.

Other than the basement no windows you could open so rather hot and stuffy! Recommend getting a couple of fans or something especially for summer!
