Mattresses were too soft. But that’s a personal preference

Indoor pool was great. Breakfast wasn't bad. Pillows are like heaven. Close to most things in town.

The bathroom had mold in it. The place needs renovations. The shower wasn't filthy but it wasn't clean either. The front desk staff (with the exception of Deedee, she was new and sweet) were NOT rude or disrespectful BUT they were not very kind either. For example, I'm a pastor and if this staff were at my church, I would not allow them to greet visitors at the door because they're not pleasant enough to do hospitality. To be in the hotel industry, you must be hospitable. I had an issue with my check in, I'm sure it was a mistake, no big deal except the lady at the desk kinda made me feel like I was worrying her because I had a double charge that took almost $300 out of my spending budget and it was my anniversary. So yes I was a little disappointed but the way I was handled was like I was being a nuisance because I wanted to make sure I wasn't charged twice (my card showed I was, bank agreed but it never posted during my stay so nothing could be rectified one way or the other.) the next guy, a younger black man, came in and wouldn't barely open his mouth to say hello or good morning. The 3rd person, an older white guy, only spoke to me to say "please don't slam the doors" which I wasn't but just letting the door shut on its own I guess was still loud 🤷🏾‍♂️ but his approach although again, NOT rude, was also not pleasant or kind. He never said hello, good afternoon or anything, just "hey can you not slam the doors" or something like that. They were not kind. I don't know who trained them but this ain't it. The price isnt bad but I won't stay here again.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Housekeeping was attentive and provided good service.

Needed more drawer space and shelves in room

Room was very clean. Check in staff was very pleasant, and helpful with our accommodations. Our room was on the 3rd. floor, and close to the elevator, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel was close to Golden Corral. We enjoyed the breakfast.

There was nothing that we didn't like.
