Facilities are very good and complete, bedrooms are surprising due to the shape of the building and the construction but I liked it There is protection for mosquitoes which is definitely necessary Beaches and restaurants are super close by the hostel There is towels which is a big + Luca the owner is a sweetheart

You always seems to disturb the wife’s owner while going into the kitchen 😅

We had such a lovely experience! The location was perfect - close to the main street of Las Galeras and just a few minutes away from the beach. The staff was lovely, everything was perfect, we would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon :)

A cute place in las Galeras. There are semi individual rooms i think i would book that eventhough since it is in a big kinda shed with no roof between the different rooms, when people speak you hear them. Take earplugs and eye mask because it get clear early. But when i stayed in the dorm one of the guest was snoring like crazy and even with earplugs or music i could still hear him. That is why i advise to take the individual "rooms" because I dont think it is much more expensive. The volunteers were sweethearts. There is a Ping-pong table and places to hang out. It is 2 min away from the bus. But there is no loud music from the parties going around which is important if you value your sleep a bit. It is a 10 or 15 min walk from an amazing beach. I met cool people there and had great talk with them.

There is a kitchen but it hard to use it because the owner's mum is watching your every moves and treating you like you are 7 (i am 40 but she did that with 50 or 55 year old women as well). She cooks during hours and does not let you use the "good" pan and you have to use to rotten carcinogenic one. And if you get a little firm with her she gets really pissy and says bad stuff in italian. It was a bit stressful to witness and the vibe was more relaxed when she was not there. The owners, her son is really nice though. And when you get her in a good mood, she is ok and will give you cooking tips. If you seen the Sopranos, she really reminded me of Tony Soprano's mum. Oh yeah... they lock the kitchen at night.... with a lock so if you get hungry during the night (i obviously would not cook during the night but grab something from the fridge becausei tend to have insomnia and eating something helps me get back to sleep...well too bad).

The rooms all share the same roof so it is not really soundproof, the kitchen sink was leaking
