Children aged 15 years and below are not allowed to use the spa area. Reservations are required for spa treatments. Pets are allowed in a very limited number of rooms and will incur an additional charge of GBP 15 per pet per night. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability. Half-board rates include an allowance of up to GBP 40 per adult, per night, which can be spent on dishes chosen from the Dining Room menu, and GBP 35 per adult, per night for bookings made before July 1, 2025. Excellent location, beautiful surrounding, hotel buildings itself and hotel interior design. Breakfast was delicious!

Spa bath that goes off every 2min and you need to press button to keep it going. Some members of the staff were giving more the the others and looked a bit tired.

"Birthday trip"

This was my birthday trip & it was lovely. Great location, great room, so much on your doorstep. Breakfast had some choice, could have haf a bit more. We had massages on my birthday in the spa, again so good. The spa was nice, the pool area could be improved. Service was great.

Excellent facilities at the Hotel and Spa. Highly recommended if you need a luxury weekend away. All the staff are super helpful and the location is superb with a very quick walk into Grasmere and short drive to Ambleside. We keep coming back which says it all. Great stay in May 2026.
