Location was perfect, just in center, but still quite street. Bed was comfortable and breakfast nice. Wifi was great.

Everything was perfect

The breakfast was basic but good. Location was good and bad - it was good because it was very central and therefore gave easy and rapid access to all of the amazing old Valetta locations, plus modern shops, and a vast array of cafes and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and our room was very clean.

Location was bad and good - it was bad because, although the hotel is sited on an old narrow street which bans vehicles after 9:30am (although many locals ignore the ban), it was very noisy at night, so we didn't get much sleep. This was not the fault of the hotel. We only discovered that building, roads and other infrastructural work is banned from taking place during the day by the Valetta authorities - so it happens at night. We were frequently kept awake by the sound of building work, especially the cavernous clanging of metal on metal which is echoed and amplified by the narrow Valetta streets. This became so intrusive to our sleep that we shortened our stay at the Palazzo Rosaria and moved to a hotel outside old Valetta. Whilst it was not a problem with the hotel itself, it would have been good to have had this information from Booking.com or the hotel before we booked.
