"Excellent stay, but no elite recognition"

Rooms: + Excellent condition. Newer hotel. No issues with any of the furnishings, except if you are using the sofa bed, don't expect the best sleep of your life (not that you would, anyways, but just go in with lower expectations). Food: + We had the free breakfast. It was 5 stars. Excellent selection of fresh items, which is uncommon. They really did a good job here. Since this hotel shares a building with a Courtyard (no breakfast), they put a staff member there to check you are staying at the Residence Inn. Service: + The staff went above and beyond on every request we had. Good team here. So why 4 stars, and not 5? The management (or ownership) implemented a pitiful rule to avoid providing any elite benefits. We were staying on a slow weekday night, with plenty of availability for the 1-BR suites on the Marriott website. Upon check-in, I asked if we could be upgraded and was told that they could not without upcharging us. This is a cash grab, which is unfortunate.

Our stay wasn’t bad. The room felt spacious and well designed. The only issues we had were: the air conditioning vent was directly aimed towards the bed and could not be adjusted making the bed area extremely cold. And the pillows were not comfortable or supported.

Nice and clean and everything I need is there in one room. TV/AC/Full kitchen with Dishwasher. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Very quiet and easy to go out for other restaurants near by or Mall 👍♥️
