Friendly stuff

This place was a gem! The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We stopped here on the spur of the moment as we drove home to Michigan from Florida. The place was very clean, inside and out. The room was small but very comfortable and contained everything we needed for a good nights rest. My husband was worried about his sports car getting door dings from other guests parking too close. The proprietor gave him an ideal parking space and then parked his own car next to ours to protect it! We were also late for the included breakfast, and they graciously postponed putting the food away allowing us to go ahead and help ourselves, waiting for us to finish. They really gave us royal treatment! We would definitely stop there again when in the vicinity!

The bed was comfortable. The area was nice & quiet. The refrigerator was a decent size. I could put a qt container of milk in the door! April, on reception, was a real sweetheart!

The breakfast was pretty limited. I had to pay an extra $10 to "upgrade" our room from one king to two doubles.

The evening and night staff at check-in were great, very friendly, and helpful. It's exactly what you need for sleeping when you are driving. I didn't enjoy the breakfast because it closed at 9:30 (too early in my opinion :)).
