Apartment Philosophenviertel

Netter Vermieter, gute Lage, hübsche Wohnung. Hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tourismusgebühr nicht im Preis inklusive.

Schöne, gemütliche Wohnung. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Schlüsselübergabe und Kommunikation war prima. Ruhige Lage. Parken auf der Straße kostenfrei möglich - wobei man auch etwas Glück haben muss und nicht immer ein Parkplatz direkt am Haus frei war. In den Nebenstraßen war es jedoch kein Problem.

The apartment is located in a very good area. Very close to the motorway and to public transport. The best thing was that it is close to the park/woods and a few minutes drive from everything.

It isn't an apartment, it is a basement!!! It does not have a separate sitting room. When you open the "front door" you walk straight into a "bedroom", what in the past would have been used as a sitting room. Instead of putting a sofa bed, they put a massive bed making the room small and uncomfortable, even worse not giving any privacy to the person/people using that space. If you are traveling with family members or friends there is nowhere to sit and relax as a group. There was nowhere to hang our coats, no coat racks anywhere. The kitchen chairs are made of plastic and totally hard and uncomfortable. There were no curtains, just blinds that one can adjust, but the ones in the only bedroom were broken. I couldn't relax and sleep because anyone walking by could stare right into the bedroom. I was so glad we had emergency towels with us because their towels stunk like they were washed with dirty smelly socks or left wet in the washing machine for days before drying. Not just the towels, the bed linen too and also the tea towels in the kitchen. I got up every day feeling dirty. Showering was a challenge with a trickle of water and basically cold water. Having a bath was not an option because it would have taken hours to fill up the bath and it would have been freezing. The worst thing is that the bathroom door opens straight into the kitchen, which as far as I am aware that is illegal!!!! At least in every other country I have been to it is illegal to open the bathroom door straight into the kitchen and to top it up, it is a glass door, so again absolutely no privacy. Overall it was designed with making money in mind and not with the guests comfort or privacy in mind. The photos are cleverly taken to make it look better than it is and if course one gets made to pay in advance so one is trapped to stay there. It truly was the worst experience I have ever had in a holiday home.

Die zentrale Lage, sehr gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und trotzdem sehr ruhig.
