Colonial Inn Ellsworth

Ruime kamer. Met kitchenette. Badkamer met bad en wc. De wastafel was apart op de kamer. Goed ontbijt. Je kon zelf diverse dingen pakken als yoghurt, cereals, koffie, sap. Broodjes. En zaken uit de koeling. Fijn dat er een wasmachine was.

De gangen zijn muffig en je ruik de kookkunsten van de buren.

One of the only hotels I could find with 3 queen beds for a large family. Nice full kitchen with a bathrooms. Clean, nice staff, indoor pool and fairly close to to Acadia.

the towels are grayish white.... We didn't use at all. Noise level is also high.

This Inn would be great for those traveling with their dog; the pet fee is only $10 and there’s a well marked dog walk area in back. Our room with kitchenette was clean, but not updated at all. The shower had good pressure, the caulking was no longer adhered to the tub surround. There is an indoor pool, game room and laundry facilities available. There is no elevator to access the 2nd floor, however the majority of rooms are on the first floor. The complimentary breakfast offered a large variety of grab’n go items, with a microwave and toaster available for heating items. This is the place for you if you don’t mind the dated rooms.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient to food outlets and shopping.

It was adequate for a one night stay and being located in a high tourist area I guess it was competitively priced. All the personnel on duty were very friendly and helpful.

The price however I understand it is in a high tourist area.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nourishing and tasty. The staff went out of their way to make certain we were comfortable. The staff gave us an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant for dinner the night we arrived.

The motel building is an older building and the upgrades to keep it comfortable, safe and functional are appreciated. The only problem I encountered was with the credit card processing sensor on one of the drink machines.

This older facility is operated by a helpful, caring staff. Our room was clean and comfortable but a bit worn with time. The value of our stay was great and we did not lack for any convenience or comfort. The only problem I encountered was with a card reader on one of the drink dispensers that would not let me charge my purchase.

Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty to choose from for breakfast, though no hot choices. Coffee always available. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia.
