Muy buena la habitación y el desayuno!!!

Problemi all' ascensore. Per il resto, tutto perfetto.

Staff were friendly. Room was good size. It was clean and our deluxe room including a mini bar and robes. The bed was huge and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast.

One of the lifts were broken 3 out of the 5 days of our stay which meant waiting ages or taking the stairs (we were on floor 15!). The cleaning staff had to leave their trolleys and take their cleaning materials by hand to other floors making their job extremely difficult. The worst of it was on our first day at breakfast in the breakfast room of the hotel on level 1, one of our party had her bag stolen from the back of her chair, whilst sitting on said chair! We realised literally a couple of minutes later and reported it immediately. The bag was thrown on one of the sofas in the foyer presumably thrown by the thief on their way out of the main door.! They had taken all her money, phone and bank card! We spent half the day reporting it to the police and hotel staff and cancelling her card and phone contact. We asked staff to check CCTV to be told that there was no CCTV inside or out as it wasn’t mandatory. On level 1 where you have breakfast there was no one checking your name and room number so basically they were letting anyone in! If someone had been there we are pretty sure they wouldn’t have taken her bag as our table was in direct eye line to the desk. At the desk where a member of staff should have been, we found a clip board with guests names and room numbers - so clearly GDPR is clearly not very high on their list of priorities. To have no CCTV in any of the communal areas is beyond belief! I have never stayed in a hotel where security is so lax and customer’s safety so low on their list. Our relative felt so violated and unsafe after the incident.

It was very convenient as we were passing through Bologna. The front desk staff at check-in and check out were exceptional. A helped us charge our car and then called the rental car company.

The pillows were tough!
