The Cove Eleuthera

The Cove is a great place to go relax and feel like you are the only one at the resort. The staff is very special and the location and the rooms are beautiful. The restaurant food is great, sushi was exceptional. We had the best time and would definitely return.

Awesome location, awesome resort, beautiful surroundings, and beautiful, welcoming people. I love the Caribbean, and this visit to the quieter side of the Bahamas didn't disappoint. So glad we chose Eleuthera.

My husband and I enjoyed our experience at The Cove overall. The grounds were beautiful and rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with amazing views. The amenities were also great throughout the resort! We provided the resort feedback on a few negatives like the check-in process being a bit disjointed as well as our negative experience with the picnic (wouldn’t recommend that), but otherwise we had a nice time. Given the cost of the entire experience and some of the hiccups we encountered, we will probably look elsewhere in the future since we’d expect near perfection for this price.

We absolutely love The Cove and just returned for our 6th stay — it’s always a pleasure to come back. It’s wonderful to see how the property continues to evolve and improve since Sally and Nick took over, while still preserving its special soul. Breathtaking views - if you are dining, if you are at the gym, if you grab a drink at the Point Bar, if you are at the pool or at any of their beaches. The food is consistently very good — simple choices, but always fresh, well-prepared, and truly tasty. Our ocean-view bungalow is simply priceless. Waking up to the incredible view of the Caribbean waters in the morning never gets old. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfectly maintained. The staff is friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking to truly switch off, slow down, and enjoy a quiet, magical place. We can’t wait to return again.

We stayed at the Cove last week for three nights and cannot recommend it highly enough. A beautiful location, complemented with excellent facilities and rooms, run by a wonderful and attentive team. We had a beach-facing room, with the front deck just a 20-foot hop over the manicured lawn to the beach. Lots of space on both beaches, even with a plenty of sunbeds available. Watching the turtles from the bench on the outcrop between the beaches was a highlight every morning. Food all great, as expected, and library (which we used) and gym facilities (didn't use but saw plenty of others doing so) available at all hours. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a well-appointed bathroom complete with two indoor showers, a bath, and an outdoor shower. Nikki on front desk and G on transport were fantastic, helping with our questions and needs on our first visit to the Bahamas, and the rest of the team always ready to help with a smile. We hope we can make it back to North Eleuthera someday!

The hotel is truly beautiful and very relaxing — it feels like being on a deserted island. The peaceful and exclusive atmosphere makes the stay extremely enjoyable. The rooms are gorgeous, spotless, and very well maintained, and the location overall is a dreamlike paradise in the Bahamas. Unfortunately, the service is not up to the standard of the resort. At the restaurant, the staff often seems to struggle with English: you order one thing and receive something else. Service is extremely slow, especially at breakfast, where we waited up to 40 minutes. We even had to ask multiple times for napkins while we were already eating. Food prices are extremely high: it is almost impossible to spend less than $160 for two poke bowls and just one glass of wine. That said, the food quality is good, especially the sushi. Overall, the hotel is stunning and relaxing, with beautiful rooms and a breathtaking location — an exclusive paradise in the Bahamas. Unfortunately, the service, particularly in the restaurant, does not match the level expected from a resort of this caliber

We went to the Cove’s restaurant for lunch and it was a terrible experience. The service was so slow and the food mediocre. We had to ask for napkins. The waitress left us for long periods of time without checking in. Our plates were not cleared. And to top it all they did not return our credit card. We had to wait over half an hour for them to locate it. Don’t go for a meal!

The resort looks serene. We did not stay on site, but rather reserved dinner for my daughters birthday. In short, as exclusive as this place is $1200 for a Buffett with food so tasteless and without creativity is obscene. I understand that food resource is scarce on the island but for the price I felt scammed. I am well traveled, have owned a restaurant and enjoy cooking. I am fine to pay top dollar for finely prepared food. It would have tasted better with ketchup. We were not the only ones who did not finish food due to lack of flavor or pizzazz. Wonderful staff. I enjoyed my Pink Sands margarita. For the money had I enjoyed my meal I would not be writing this.
