Great location right on the beach

Coffee not great at breakfast. They start picking up beach chairs at 4pm. Missing the golden time in the beach.

We had a fantastic stay at La Playa Orient Bay. It was clear from start to finish that this is the crown jewel of the French West Indies – serine and sublime. Our room was luxurious, the location was perfectly situated on the beach and near Orient Bay Square with a variety of top-notch restaurants and boutique shops. And the complimentary breakfasts were always Best of was the the staff––so helpful and hospitable, responsive and kind. Each recommendations was excellent and really helped elevate our experience in Saint Martin. When I visit again, I will only stay at La Playa Orient Bay!

Currently staying here with friends. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are big , well appointed and clean. They look new! Breakfast has a wide selection, including eggs, scrambled and hard boiled, bacon and sausages, bread, fruit and sweet breads. There is no dinner at the hotel. The beach is stunning. There's some drink service on the beach as well as a bar. The people who work here are absolutely fantastic. They are welcoming and very friendly. We are so happy with our choice. Will definitely return!

My wife and I booked an impromptu trip to La Playa for a quick break from the daily hustle. It was our first time staying here, and we only learned about it from the Internet. Our stay was exactly what we needed! Very relaxing, excellent service, and a comfortable, quaint, hotel. A special THANK YOU to Elena for making our stay absolutely delightful. She offered us an upgraded room, made herself available for any special requests, and helped us with dinner recommendations/reservations. Our room was bright, airy, and impeccably clean. The daily maid service was awesome. The included breakfast buffet was a nice touch, as we had coffee each morning with our toes in the sand. It was easy to get beach lounge chairs each day, and the beach attendants were extremely polite and brought drinks and lunch to our beachfront loungers each day. There are a number of restaurants in the village across the street, and the food there was incredible. If you are looking for a charming, relaxing, and very chill location, this is your place. We rarely go back to the same place twice, but we are already planning a return trip to La Playa in the spring.

La chambre spacieuse, très bien agencée, calme et bien équipée

Le petit déjeuner qui n'était pas à la hauteur de nos attentes et de ce que nous avons rencontré lors de notre précédents séjours dans d'autres établissements : - la machine à café défectueuse durant les 2 jours sans aucune information d'indiquer sur celle ci. - l'obligation de signaler au personnel que les approvisionnements ne sont pas faits (omelettes, lardons...) - nécessité de payer si on veut des œufs sur le plat - nettoyage d'une pile d'assiettes sales devant nos yeux avec une bouteille d'eau en faisant ruisseler l'eau sale vers l'assiette du dessous au fur et à mesure... Enfin à notre arrivée la réceptionniste nous a fortement conseillé d'aller diner au restaurant l'Astrolabe car il y avait une chanteuse le samedi soir. Elle s'est donc empressée de réserver pour nous. Le restaurant était effectivement très bien mais nous attendons toujours la chanteuse (en fait il n'y en a jamais ce jour là selon le personnel de l'Astrolabe que nous avons questionné)

This Hotel is amazing, we enjoyed so much our stay from the room to everything around it. Room was beautiful with ocean view, super clean. Everything is in walking distance, beach, restaurants, bars. Beach bar at La Playa Hotel is beautiful. The location is easy get to other attractions if you want to drive around the island as we did. We love it so much& we’re planning to be back again. Thank you La Playa Orient Bay team for making our stay unforgettable. Staff was super helpful for any question we had. 🫶

Breakfast and coffee there wasn’t good. We didn’t like it.

Proximité avec une plage compatible avec la baignade + pas mal de commerces autour de l'hôtel Belle hôtel refait a neuf récemment.

We were totally satisfied with our visit. Great location, large room with ocean view. Friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful pool, short walk to beautiful Orient Bay Beach and many restaurants in the village. Rooms are spacious, super clean and comfortably furnished. Automatic airconditioning. Daily housekeeping staff cared about the results. Restaurant has buffet breakfast and special coffees. The open air dining room (water views) serves lunch with a solid menu and very good sushi. Alexandra provides oversight and very thoughtful service. Pleasant bar with good beverage choices. We were aware of LaPlaya due to a previous lunch visit and we are very glad we booked this stay. No glitz, but a very solid hotel resort choice.
