Wonderful location in the city center, close to the train station and all the main landmarks.

Top Lage, schöne Zimmer, super Frühstück - sehr empfehlenswert!

Location is excellent, nice building, room is spacious.

- Uninterested, dismissive and borderline rude personnel, from reception desk (3 different people who barely smile and say hello or offer any help beyond :"here's your keys and sign here", so that can't be a coincidence), to bar where apparently ordering drinks to take to your room is a nuisance (despite this being clearly indicated in the room as there is nothing in the minibar). I've seen previous reviews stating that English speakers were not treated well. Well, my mother tongue is French and that didn't change anything - rooms are spacious and clean, but a bit aged (stains on the floor, lining of the bathtub peeling off), and very few conveniences for a 4 start hotel: no slippers, no cosmetics (body lotion? Cotton pads?) beyond the small shower gel, no complimentary water, no snacks in the mini bar, they need to be ordered downstairs and the reception personnel wasn't very interested in helping. - complicated front door access with heavy suitcases/strollers (narrow entrance, and automated doors would be a huge improvement)

Proximity Cleanliness and comfort

The room was cold at night. Had to turn up the radiators because they all were shut off.
